Popatlal English Medium Nursery School (PEMNS) is a co-educational pre-school founded in January 2004 under the chairmanship of late Mr. Anil C. Amin. The Nursery School has gone through some challenges until now that it has come almost to its full capacity.

The mission of Popatlal English medium school is to provide high quality teaching to enable pupils to be knowledgeable in all curriculum subjects and to establish a positive friendly atmosphere in which all pupils can achieve success.

About us

PEMNS is designed to care for children between the age-groups of two up to six years of age. The school has experienced and qualified teachers who apply modern methods of teachings in line with other international school. We provide the best education for your child and look for quality education in this competitive world. Indeed, whilst flowers grow in a garden, children grow in a Kindergarten, and hence, the available classes being playgroup, KG 1, 2 and 3. PEMNS is run on comparably high and competitive levels of pre school education.
The classrooms are arranged according to age groups, which mean as for example, children of age group 2 years sit in a classroom explicit for that age group. They have their full-time teacher as their foster parent away from home. Likewise, there is a trained/experienced Teachers Aide whom they fondly refer to as Dada.

We believe the first five years of life of a child are the most important because it is during this time that the child grows physically very quickly, and its social behaviour and mental attitudes are also formed. The foundations are laid mentally and physically for building up the kind of person into which the child will grow.
What is the role of the nursery school in all these aspects of a child's life? The complex answer lies in a saying that goes: "while flowers grow in a garden, children grow in the Kindergarten.
Play Material and out-door activities: The school has large spacious out-doors play ground equipped with adequate recreational facilities like slides, swings, merry go round etc., and in addition there are the common facilities which are at the disposal of the school in two other playgrounds of the Popatlal Chain of Schools.

Why play?
Play does many things for a child:
It keeps the mind lively and interested.
It makes use of and develops the imagination.
It helps the child to think, and reason.

We pride ourselves in ensuring that each and every child is taken in as a Popatlal family member. As we welcome children during their transition period from home, we take note of their attachment and bonding to their initial caregiver who is the parent. Our experienced staff who are warm and receptive provide the child with comfort within no time, ensurers their needs are met so that they feel safe and develop trust in their new environment.
